The brief was to create a tray with a raised edge to prevent objects from sliding off and a base that would elevate it from the supporting surface. It had to be made from a single material, be easy to produce, and be lightweight, durable, affordable, washable, and visually distinctive. This design meets all these requirements, offering a functional product with clean lines. Perfect for breakfast in bed!
