Babel
Collection of lamps with floor and suspended versions, Babel is a symbolic representation of society. A ziggurat in continuous movement, but always in balance. From this suggestion arises the idea of the truncated-cone lampshade, divided into concentric rings tilted on varying rather than parallel axes, as in the modernist tradition. Both to stress the nuances of the light reflected on the external surface of the rings, and to confer them a material texture appreciable to the touch and perceptible even with natural light, a composite material was developed, consisting of a pvc film coupled to a polyester mesh, woven in a honeycomb pattern.
